Chief Operating Officer/Chief Information Officer
Elliot Lopez manages operations and technology infrastructure at ERP. Elliot has over twenty years of experience in leading innovation and change, building and managing high performing teams, maximizing technology service value, integrating enterprise systems and enhancing business processes across a range of organizations in the private, non-profit, K-12, higher education and finance sectors.
Throughout his career, Elliot has devoted himself to promoting a culture of excellence in the educational setting, and in leveraging technology and data to support and advance the impact of instruction for students and the communities that they live in. Prior to joining ERP, Elliot served across the K-12 and post-secondary education sectors - as a 4th and 5th grade teacher, then as an administrator at UC Davis, at the San Juan Unified School District, and most recently as the Chief Information Officer for the Sacramento City Unified School District. Elliot has worked to improve intersegmental collaboration between K-12 and post-secondary education as co-Chair of Sacramento's Align Capital Region Student Data Sharing partnership, to enable students to build citizenship skills and self confidence as Vice Chair of the Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium, and to provide free, unlimited access to public transportation for Sacramento-area students in partnership with regional transit and local elected officials. He has also served in executive leadership roles in private and non-profit organizations.
Elliot hails from Brooklyn, NY. He studied at Dartmouth College and MIT, holds an Elementary Education teaching credential, attended the National Superintendents Academy, holds certification in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and is a credentialed Chief Innovation Officer.
